Photographer's Note
Matanzas, capital of the province of the same name, is located in the Bay of Matanzas, in a privileged place of the geography of the north coast of the island of Cuba between the mouths of the rivers; Yumuri, San Juan and Canimar, is known as the city of bridges, because of the 17 bridges that cross the three rivers that cut the city. Due to its cultural and literary development the city is also known as "The Athens of Cuba". This development began in 1813 when the city received the benefits of the introduction of printing. This year the golden century of the city begins. Travel video of Matanzas in: https://youtu.be/YOo-T1Xe08Y
