Monter dans un avion est toujours un moment particulier, souvent synonyme de vacances, c'est le moyen de transport le plus fascinant tant par les merveilles technologiques dont il est composé que par la capacité à offrir du rêve, du rêve au voyageur. Reliant 2 aéroports, 2 pays, 2 cultures qui peuvent être aux antipodes, plus qu'un moyen de transport l'avion est un accélérateur de rêves.
Photo prise quelque part entre punta cana et st domingue, à bord d'un 747.

Great shot from an airplane!
Lovely colours and very good sharpness on the wings of the plane. The cloudformations have interesting shapes. The catched light, especially that on the tip of the wing is really nice.

c'est le vol du retour, on quitte son lieu de vacances avec un petit pincement au coeur, l'île te fais parvenir un dernier clin d'oeil par le biais d'un arc en ciel pour te souhaiter bon voyage.
très belles couleurs surtout sur l'aile.

Taking photos out of the window on the plane, we've all done it, and usually the results are far from spectacular.
This, on the other hand is outstanding.
The colours are very striking (perhaps a little over-saturated), but it's those unusual clouds and of course the rainbow that give this a strong impact.

Brilliant colours! One of the best things in flying is to get to see clouds close. And on this one there's even a rainbow. I can imagine this scene moving behind a window.

Cette image est forte originale. L'aile est si nette malgré que c'était pris à travers d'une fenêtre et j'aime la texture du métal. Le bonus est l'arc en ciel. Superbe.

The colours are really psychedelic here, Sebastien, as is this view of the rainbow, I for one have never seen a rainbow from the airplane in my life. Something happened with the sharpness of the clouds though, maybe a noise reduction artefact...

Pour une photo prise à travers un hublot c'est pas mal!Mais il me semble que tu as peu trop accentué les couleurs au niveau des nuages,çà manque de naturel!

Pas facile les vues de la fenêtre d'un avion, j'ai essayé également cette année mais sans conviction. Celle-ci est encore bien je trouve. On est impatient de voir le reste tu sais....Et comme j'ai dit à Aldo ( Saigon ) quand il est revenu du Portugal " j'espère que tu nous réserve quelques surprises.....!...:))..J'attend de voir...

Hi Sebastien - I have to admit that I am always drawn to aerial photographs, being an avaiation enthusiast. But this one is really special, the colours are amazing, the way the sun lights up the clouds & of course the rainbow adds another splash of colour into the image.

You've also managed to get a clear, sharp image, which is remarkable as you were shooting through the glass of the aircraft's window, that's not easy!

It isn't very easy to get clear pictures trough an airplane window. Here you didn't only manage to have a pristine window, but also an awsome bouquet of colors with the rainbow and refelctions on the wing.

I have never seen a rainbow from a plane and i really flew a lot. This is so weird to see, looks almost unreal.
The light on the wing is out of this world...absolute stunning, never seen this before.
You've got a unique picture, maybe a prize winner in a lot of photo contests.

Sébastien, j'ai découvert ce matin ta photo en 1ère page de TE : j'aime ta façon d'écrire rêveuse et ta photo est elle même un rêve - j'ai fait le même trajet en avion, avec des cieux (plutôt, des "ciels") plus cléments, donc je n'ai pas vu toute cette magie ; c'est splendide !

juste après le décollage, situé du bon côté près du hublot (ce ue je demande toujours!) et pas au milieu de l'aile!je suis comme toi, le transport en avion fait partie du voyage et de dépaysement
