Photographer's Note
In front of Santa Clara Convent, this 18th century washhouse is still used by the inhabitants of Antigua (at least in 1999). I captured the tree ladies using the social media plateform that has been existing since ages…the public washhouse.
Equipment used:
- Body: Nikon F401
- Lens: Sigma 70 – 300
I exhumed some of my files (negatives) and had them scanned.
Given the age of the negatives and state of conservations I hade to modify the picture.
