Photographer's Note

Totonicapan is the smallest capital of a province (the province has the same name) in Guatemala.
It has as you can see a new center but the women are traditionally dressed like in all Mayan Guatemala.
We went up the mountains in the distance to Quiche and the roads were no longer surfaced but sandy with rocks.

Very good image with lots of colour, both literally and culturally. The mountains in the background give a strong sense of the kind of place and I love the bus, which seems typical for Central America.
