Photographer's Note

Jamaïca is the island of reggae music, these two musicians are taken in Nime Miles, a small village lost in the hills of the center of the island, it was here where Bob Marley was born, it possible to see the house and the tomb of this famous musician.

Tuas bien capturé l'action des joueurs de tambour. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs des vêtements. La bonne luminosité fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journée.

Hello Jean - The colours here make me think of exotic fruits and sunny days! How fabulous it must be to listen to reggae in its 'home'.

A strikingly colourful shot and I must say, I love the fact that we have old and young making music together. Love the dreads!

I have to be completely honest, i'm not a fan of Reggae music, not at all :(
but I can appreciate a fine photo when I see it.
the orange bg wall gives a fine contrast and balance of colors - if it where white it may make the scene too bright - the dimmed orange works so well.

love the attire, the long hair, the hat...so many fun itmes to view

L'endroit est sans aucun doute un lieu de pélerinage rasta, comme la tombe de Marcus Garvey ou le Mausolée d'Haile Selassie à Addis Abeba....
La scène est sympathique et colorée, mais ils ont l'air un peu préoccupés... sans doute n'avaient ils pas assez fumé!!!

They look as father and son drummers, with the big drum painted as their national flag, I suppose.
All colors convey vivid tones and their look at a whole is interesting element.

I like very much the way you captured and framed this photo. Your composition is simple and well balanced, the viewer can feel the dynamic effect of the playing movements and the diagonals. You captured terrific details, I like how we are enticed to study the similarities and differences between the two musicians.
