Photographer's Note
I took over a dozen shots of the old town, but was only able to narrow it down to 7 that I liked in hindsight. It was a tough decision which one to upload, that best epitomises the charming, renovated old town of Shkoder. Here's one more. Taken on a quiet Sunday afternoon with very few people around.

A well lit old-town road, Chris, though looks not so crowded.
The pastel colors and the archi.-design are most attractive objects. POV chosen well. No difficult decision - just post all of the shots taken.
Good evening,

Bonjour Chris,
La rue envoie mon regard au loin ce qui donne d ela profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des immeubles. La bonne luminosité rehausse la beauté des couleurs. Bonne journée.

Hello Chris, the quietness of the street allows us to appreciate the architecture, colours and details.
Good composition with the road leading us through the scene.

Hello Chris,
And, no cars, what more could you ask? I like the pleasant relaxed mood and the contrasts in light and shade. The couple chatting offer a focal point, whilst the repeating lamps create perspective. Excellent light management, superb colours and clarity.

Nice little street but this must have been early in the morning before the crowd. I like the lighting and the reflection provided adequate lighting for the shaded area. Wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

Hello Chris,
Great view of this town. The mood is very nice with this fine summer sunlight and colourful façades in this (almost) deserted street. Great composition too.

Ha! Ha! Chris,
This reminds me so much of travelling through France; my husband always comments, 'Another busy day!' as we see no-one in the streets or gardens!
This is such a pretty urban area, lots of seats for the absent pedestrians, al fresco dining areas and lovely pastel colours. You have used the road as a very effective lead, ensuring that it takes us on a full tour of the site.
It looks as if it has recently been raining, maybe, that's why there are so few people about.
This is not how I perceived Albania, at all.
Thanks for sharing this,
Bev :-)

Hi Chris,
I remember this series from FB. Indeed they are all very pretty. This is probably the best choice here. I like how many attractive little houses there are along this promenade. Beautiful spot! Very well balanced exposition as well with both the shaded and sunlit areas preserving all details.
It is funny how empty it is almost as a movie set not a real town.
Great reportage from so rarely presented here country.
European and so exotic at the same time.
Excellent work,
M

Hello Chris,
A very quiet afternoon ... I thought first it was an early morning shot.
Perhaps it was very hot.
Very charming and stylish buildings in pretty colours.
The window shutters make me think at Italy.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Chris,
I agree, this is a charming street. I like the colors on the photo. The curvature of the street is particularly inviting. Too bad they haven't put all the cables underground.
Regards,
MT
