After many pictures from Georgia, a few from Albania.

Berat is a city and a municipality located in south-central Albania, and the capital of the County of Berat and also one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities. In July 2008, the old town called Mangalem district, was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The seat of the municipality is the city Berat. The total population is 60,031 (2011 census),

Berat lies on the right bank of the river Osum, a short distance from the point where it is joined by the Molisht river. The old city centre consists of three parts: Kalaja (on the castle hill), Mangalem (at the foot of the castle hill) and Gorica (on the left bank of the Osum). Excellent composition and good square format. The small horse is very well placed in the foreground and nicely juxtaposed with the town in the distance. You had a lovely sunny day here with a nice blue sky.

Hello Piotr,
A nicely balanced composition with the horse providing a good counterpoint to the village, the two linked by the dusty path. The image is agreeably illuminated and has good colours and sharpness.

Hello Piotr,
These days Albania is a popular subject on TE. Honestly, I admit it's a country that seems to me personally also very appealing.
Berat is certainly one of the destinations in the country.
The grazing horse creates a pleasant foreground with the typical white buildings beckoning a little further.
Apparently there's a lot of litter in that environment.

Great view on the donkey, quietly eating not being disterbed by the photographer.
In the good composition the path leads the eye also towards the village in the distance, great work!!!

The horse in foreground is a wonderful addition.
Nice perspective and depth picture.

wspaniala scenka, ten kon na pierwszym planie z tak starodawnym siodlem wprowadza sredniowieczna atmosfere. W oddali w dodatki stare budownictwo.
Jedyny wspolczesny elementtota reklamowka kolo nogi konia :(
