Sarandë Lighthouse View, a photo from Sarande, South

Photographer's Note

An unusual view from an unusually shaped lighthouse on the pier in central Saranda / Sarandë.. You can see the lighthouse itself here:

But I was more interested in framing the bg using the hollow base of the lighthouse.

Lep svod svetionika i zgrade na obali, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom i perspektivom.

Hello Chris,
This wasn't really any of my favourite places in Albania, but it was a convenient place for seeing Butrint and Corfu. You made a nice composition by using these shapes, and the town doesn't look so boring from this distance.

Hello Chris,
We do not get many picture from this town in Albania, but saw on a virtual tour on Google-Map that it offers a beautiful seashore strip aith modern buildings along the riviera.
Good view through the unique shaped edifice, however - I did not find this on the map.

Bonjour Chris,

Tu as eu une bonne idée d'utiliser l'ouverture du phare pour cadrer la scène. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de cette partie du phare et des immeubles en arrière-plan. La lumière rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Hi Chris,
very original framing for this attractive seside panorama. I have checked the picture of the lighthouse and it certainly appears very unusual. I will keep it in mind if I ever get for holidays to Corfu. This is a viewpoint which is a must-see!

I remember this monument from the post of malgo. here we can see it closer and with its internal part. lovely the city between the sea and hills. looks an important place.
