July 2007: Returning from a climb in the Stubai region towards the Siegerland Hutte 'By der Hermann' as we claimed to say after several days. It's a very remote region and you can walk for hours before seeing oher people here. The person on the picture is a member of our group. The Siegerlandhütte is positioned high above the Ötztal with some nice easy and more difficult but climbable mountains in reach. The approach to the hut however will take you several hours... so that why we took the little taxibus wich shortens the walk for two hours! :-)
