Photographer's Note

We just had our two weeks of Easter holiday. Traditionally that's the time for a city trip abroad, this year we made two trips in Belgium instead: one to the far east (Malmédy), one to De Panne in the far western corner of the country. The latter has been our plan B for travelling throughout corona.

DE PANNE is a well known seaside town/village, in the far west of the Belgian coastline, right up to the French border. It is known for its wide, sandy and often quite windy beach.

This picture was shot round about sunset on the day we arrived there last week. These seaside huts can be rented to holiday makers, they are usually put up from somewhere around Easter until the end of the summer holiday season.
