Photographer's Note

The Big Wheel, during the "Foire de Liège", the big yearly fair that takes place on the main avenue in Liege every October.
I like those old merry-go-rounds and other games you have in such fairs. They have a nice '50s look.

Used a wide angle (24mm equivalent) and a long pose to catch the movement.

Very interesting composition, which gives the viewer a kind of "vertigo-feeling".
The exposure is good, but I prefer longer exposure to emphasize the blurriness of the movement, to create even more vertigo.
Nevertheless I like the photo – god job!

Superbe photo de nuit Philippe. Les couleurs sont vives, le rendu du détail (cheval, armatures) est excellent, le cadre est bien pensé (la présence des 2 personnes renforcent encore l'aspect "vivant" de la photo). Mais surtout j'adore l'effet de mouvement de la roue et le cheval qui se cabre : Cela rend cette photo pleine de force, de dynamisme!!
Je l'aurais peut-être aussi ajoutée dans les catégories "Vie quotidienne" et/ou "Moment décisif".

I like the way you filled your frame with the nicely motion-blurred Ferris wheel very much. The two people looking it are a nice touch. Engaging picture!

This is perfect: very good colors , the movement of the lights (1sec) and the composotion towards the black sky are reinforcing the atmosphere. Thanks for sharing.
