During my bike trip 22 km of my home

BENTILLE a small village against the Netherlands borders, nice to stroll and bicycle

History:

Special locationThe line formed by a central street with changing name Bentillestraat-Kerselarenhoek-Kerselaarstraat-Heistraat, is the dividing line between the various municipalities. For the effective center, the Bentillestraat is the dividing line between Sint-Laureins and Kap rijk. Where it turns into Kerselaarstraat, however, the boundary curves around the Kerselarenhoek, so that the western part of the Kerselaarstraat lies entirely on Kaprijk's territory. To the east, this Kerselaarstraat changes into Heistraat, the buildings to the south of this are the municipality of Assenede.

Hallo John,
Eerlijk gezegd, ik heb nog nooit van Bentille gehoord. De naam klinkt zelfs eerder Frans.
Genomen op een prachtige lentedag met veel mooie bloesems langs de kant van de weg. De baan zelf vertoont heel wat schaduwen van hogere bomen die buiten het zicht staan.
Scherpte, helderheid en diepte maken het een zeer aantrekkelijke foto.

Hallo John,
Wat een prachtig lenteweer hier. Vooral de bloesem in de lage boompjes is heel aantrekkelijk, maar dat geldt ook voor de vroege groene tinten in de bomen. De weg loopt mooi aan de rechterkant van de foto en de schaduwen vormen een mooi patroon.

Hello John,
This is generally a pleasant view of the green fields, trees and two small buildings at the end of the road. The most attractive details are probably the shadows of the largely unseen trees covering the road and the green ditch. Exposure and treatment of the colours is perfect as usual.

Hello John,

This is as fine a composition as you usually produce, with an excellent guide line, with strong, focal features and fine sense of perspective.
The f/g has added interest because of those long, patterned shadows, streaming across the road hedgerows.

Hello John,
Another lovely weather and beautiful countryside scene ... 22km from your home. And you've 22 km or more to get back home :-).
I do like the trees with white 'blossoms' along the wooden fence , side by side with the dappled shadows of the trees leading us to the small 'rustig' village of Bentille.
It seems to me that the trees' shadows are walking hand in hand on the road :-)
Thanks for sharing this 'idyllic' village.

The road gives us a good perspective towards the houses in the background, a nice line of flowering trees, the shadows of these higher on the road give a good graphic.

A lovely spring blossom time and a place for morning stroll. Lovely composition & shooting angle the way the position of the receding shadows leads the eye right through the image.
