Photographer's Note

This image belongs to the Mechelen Groete Markt or Great Place.
As you can see I enjoyed a very sunny day, and I was there on Sunday, so the only people who I saw were the Mechelen citizens. I could enjoy this beautiful spot between Brussels and Antwerp, practically on my own. Being not so big like the others well known belgian cities, gives Mechelen an special atmosphere of a non discovered place for tourism.
It was a great great pleasure, and one of the best moments of the trip, to stroll there, at random, without a sense, without a map, and feel lost for a couple of hours. I enjoyed an incredible tranquility, and a beauty non reflected on any guide. Imagine the city just for you and the people who go for the paper, for bread, or just taking care of their gardens.
In my opinion, if you go to Belgium, you cannot miss this beautiful city, it is completely worthy.
