Fantastic close-up on the frozen dropplets, Chris,
marvelous view to the plant through the crisp ice.
A phenomenon we do not see in israel - though this week we have very low temp.s. 6C was at 07:00 local.

Hello Chris,
If you had cropped the lower part this would have become an almost abstract composition. Now we get an idea of what we are looking at. It's still a fascinating view of colours and shapes. You had a very smart impulse to notice this and to take a photo.

Hi Chris,
Quite a particular decoration of the Christmas tree. I remember when I was decorating Christmas tree as a child we had at home fake icicles which we were hanging on the tree but here someone arranged the real icicles instead. I wonder whether it was intended by spilling the water on the tree or rather incidental by the tree standing under a water source.

That was indeed a very cold day.
I suspect you have never had such low temperatures at home.
A lot of water must have ended up on top of the tree first.

Well observed, though it must have been very cold on your hands, taking photographs!
This is like a natural chandelier of crystal ice, sharply captured in the bright light.
