Another Village, a photo from Sofia Province, West

Photographer's Note

This is another Bulgarian village from the outskirts of Rila Mountain (2925 meters) on the horizon. The name of the place is Majare. I was amazed at the latest changes of these places - last time I visited them was 1998. Almost all the houses have been rebuilt during this perioud. Prices of land have drastically risen - more than 10 times. Locals have build many hotels and tourist huts after selling some of the land. The vicinity has been cleaned from waists and plastic garbage... Though hard to live under the rules of EU, it deserves the effort, I think.

Good photo of Bulgarian village,very good sharp focus and nice colour.
I like your notes, Bulgaria is a country I know little of/ So shall look your photos.

This is not just Another Village. It is a pretty nice village. It's good to know that some things are improving in Република България, after membership to the Европейски съюз.
It seems the picture is a little tilted, but that's not so important.

Another nice mountain village Anton! And still covered with snow. I know Rila because of the fantastic monastery. Good shot with very nice colours and an amazing scenery around.

Nice shot. I like the general view and the snowed mountains on the background. I don't like a bit your framing. I find the elements to the base of your frame somewhat disturbing.

The roof tops altogether are looking great. This seems very good place to stay in this lovely and peacefull atmosphere.
