some great material here: the color of the walls, the texture, the flowers, the position of the window frames, but something is missing... cannot put my finger on what exactly. the foto does not seem to "talk". maybe a glint in the window, maybe more light. maybe it's just me. i would revisit this window again.

i like the color of the backround is making the shadow blue,the flowers are completing the picture making alive.Beatris

I think this is a very good observation and a fine composition. I like the faded colours on the wall, the grey windows and the flowers. Very nice. Not so long ago I posted several similar pictures from Crete, so I guess we have some interest in common.

Voilà une photo bien réussie de cette fenêtre rustique joliment décorée de fleurs. Très bon rendu des matériaux (murs et volets).
Peut-être un peu trop de lumière sur le dessus du volet de gauche.

Here is a good photo of this rustic window nicely decorated with flowers. Very good depiction of the materials (walls and shutters).
Maybe too much light on the top of the left shutter.

great picture , great relief and colors
the sunset light reveals all the details of this old wall and none of the nuances of the ancient paint on the shutters is forgotten
it looks like water color painting executed with strengh

I find the whole composition and colors quite artful. Could be a painting really if we didn't have cameras. The shutters look a bit run down but the flowers signal that someone does live behind them. Very nice. Regards,

A special detail well captured Lazlo. The tight compo and crop set in this faboulous saturated setting comes out really well in this result.
