Photographer's Note
I have heard so many times that you appreciate a great view much more if it costs you more effort to get there. I don’t know about you guys but I don’t mind getting to a great view in an easy way. You can get to this view point hiking in the heat or using the cable car. I did the easy way. I am glad actually that this option was available because with a little child I would need probably to change my plans.

Hello Mariusz,
I think there lies truth in the saying that a greater effort yields a greater reward. But of course I understand that climbing this steep hill isn't possible with children.
The many red roofs look most appealing. Nice contrast with the sea. The long wall helps to estimate the size.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Mariusz,
What a breath-taking view down the rocky and steep cliffs towards the very attractive orange roofs of the town, so nicely seen in between the green trees and the blue sea. It shows the impressive city walls very clearly too.

Good morning Mariusz,
Wonderful picture from the height of the mountain behind the narrow coast of Dubrovnik.
Besides the beautiful red and blue colors - just imagine in contrast the horrors it had endured from the bombardment from this ridge back in the 1993 civil war.
The fabulous sight is so different - should stay as beautiful as it is.
Have a nice new day,
Ike

cześc Mariusz, Fantastyczny widok na Dubrownik. To tam jest kolejka linowa? Ty jechałes kolejka bo z dzieckiem, a ja kolejką wjechałam na Szrenicę i zjechałam bo z leniwym. Takj to jest. Piękne te czerwone dachy. Super widok i malo popularny. Cały Dubrownik jak na dłoni. Szkoda tylko, ze takie małe zdjęcie. Gdyby było 1600 pixeli, to efekt byłby jeszcze lepszy.
Pozdrawiam serdecznie

Bonjour Mariusz,
Quelle belle plongée vertigineuse vers cette magnifique ville de Dubrovnik, qui demeure encore un de mes rêves de voyage. Point de vue qui semble un peu dangereux.

Hello Mariusz
Actually we used a car to get up here...and its indeed a fascinating view from here. We stayed here past sunset savouring the beauty of the walled city light up.
This is a wonderful picture of the polygonal (loosely) structure of Dubrovnik

Bio sam vise puta u Dubrovniku za vreme Jugoslavije.
Interesantan i lep pogled, dobar tekst.
Dobar rad, kompozicija, kontrast i ostrina, lepe boje, lepo pokazani zidovi stare tvrdjave i crveni krovovi.
Lepa stara arhitektura i crveni krovovi.

Hello Mariusz
This fascinating picture show perfectly why this Dubrovnik is so often mentioned. A fascinating town with the walls.
I glad you took the cable car otherwise the picture wasn’t this sharp by your trembling of the effort to walk to this view.

Ciao Mariusz
What a beautiful place. A superb high POV, incredible colours and light management and a superb sense of perspective and depth. The water, oh those colours make me want to dive straight in. And the characteristic old rooftops of the town are so compelling, contrasting dramatically with the blues and greens of the sea. Delightful.
Happy Friday

Hello Mariusz,
I am glad you found the 2nd lookout atop the museum. I almost missed it. Personally I prefer the view depicted here, without the cablecar wires slicing through the middle of the image. Tfs!

Hi Mariusz,
A lovely aerial view with the town and harbour beautifully laid out below you against a gorgeous azure sea. The light and colours are lovely, your exposure perfect and the details and sharpness are stunning.
An interesting note too - nice to be able to get up there by cable car but why didn't you just hike and give Nadia a piggy-back? :-)
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hello Mariusz.
Superb this great panorama of Dubrovnik, I guess that is made from the Mirardor from the cable railway, I do not have time to climb up, you look great around the old town, the port and ramparts, a fantastic perspective.
Color, sharpness and brightness are excellently captured.
Very good composition, great presentation.
Have a good weekend.
Warm greetings.
Luis.

Pozdrawiam

Hello Mariusz,
a magnificent view that I've only seen in photos and through a plane window, the exquisite colours of this city and coast shine and reach even to the height of the plane. I like that you kept their natural splendour in this photo, the perspective and the details are superb too. I also like the rewarding context refrerring to both land and sea, the pine tree is a fine ornament in your fascinating composition. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great evening,
Ourania
