Photographer's Note

This will be the third photo in my series of weathercocks (funny name - be course I hasn’t posted a “rooster” yet – but just wait)

These two nice examples can be seen in the centre of the 750-year-old town Svendborg. The ship is situated on the top of an old half-timbered building called “Wiggers house"
The pointer can be found on the spire of “Vor frue kirke” (Church of our lady). In this tower also a complete set of bells, and specially in the summertime and weekends there will be made Concerts with every kind of music from Bach to Beatles.

And now a little lesson in perspective – Be course of a heavy zoom there's turned up and down on high and low. In fact the roof at the left the lowest and the spire the highest.

I spotted this shot long time ago – in fact its my hometown – and lately I have been coming back ever now and then in order to get “the shot”. The ship actually a bad construction for a pointer – it seams the sails can give wrong directions when the ship “sails” against the wind.

You can see a 360 deg panorama of this place here.
