Photographer's Note

Aubigny sur Nere - Department Cher - Paris 186 km - Population 6055 inhabitants - Altitude 186 meters.

Aubigny-sur-Nere is the place of memory of extraordinary written by these knights, Scottish soldiers which came per thousands, at the darkest days of the French history and the one hundred year old war, to support the cause of the French monarchy confronted with the English invader.
Almost six centuries ago in 1423, the king Charles VII gives the city to Jean Stuart most prestigious of the chiefs of the Scottish Army which allowed him to put a term at the One hundred Year old War.
You will be able to come to assist as from July 6, 2006, as each year with the commemorative festivals where is held parades of the Scottish brass bands.

Technic - To photograph the castle of Robert Stuart, I did not have sufficient retreat. I thus tested a stitch of 6 photographs and another of 46 images. The stitch of 6 gives an image not very acceptable.
The central part of the castle was slightly bent and the towers are slightly deformed.
About the 46 images, it was not sufficient, I obtained black bands on the sky and it was necessary to carry out an important crop on architecture. I discovered a better solution it's to clone pieces of sky to mask the black bands.
