Ce n'est pas grave Dr,ici je pense nous sommes tous atteints du même virus.Oui tu as raison la lumière est très belle et il fallait se déplacer tout ce froid pour aller chercher cette très belle image.Finalement,il faisait froid mais cette T° de couleur chaude de la lumière compense.

Faut être courageux pour sortir faire des photos de ce temps là mais quel plaisir quand on a une lumière pareille. Nous sommes allés aussi faire quelques photos samedi pour assouvir notre virus, j'étais tellement gelé que je n'ai rien fait de bien sauf attraper un autre virus, celui du rhume..
C'est joli cette perspective sur le canal gelé avec ces teintes bleutées, on dirait une route.

Hello Didi,

As a doctor (now retired) I can tell you that your virus is not serious. But, unfortunately, there is no known cure! I think you will have it for the rest of your life!

But it's worth being infected with this virus if you can continue to produce beautiful photographs like this! Lovely lighting, lovely colours and contrasts and exquisite detail and sharpness. And a fine composition too.

Bonjour, cher Didi,
Superbe perspective depuis l'écluse. La lumière est magnifiquement mise en valeur. J'aime bien la petite maison de l'éclusier (qui deviendra un jour inscrit au patrimoine architectural de la région) !
Il n'y a pas lieu de s'inquiéter au sujet du virus, c'est un bon virus, et il faut le garder précieusement.

your informative note has a great and clever humour,with the same 'sign of illness ' to have and me, ecspecially when i'm face to face with a beautiful landscape,saying 'this will be a marvelous good shot'.
I like the view of the frozen canal with the depth to creates an excellent and superb scene under the brilliant light of the cold day of February with the vivid colours to enhance the beauty of the place.

PS You have right about your previous critics, that a panoramic large view would was better for the photos,but this could be in a next visit to Moroco.

J'ai eu peur que tu aies attrapé le virus "system check" sur TE la semaine dernière! Mais je vois que les symptômes sont semblables aux miens!
Il fait froid, mais au moins il fait aussi soleil, ce qui a permis ces belles couleurs. La profondeur dans le canal et l’écluse gelés est appréciable!

this view is lovely but I think it is one of many excuses to capture and use the very beautiful light that brightens the winter day and is always very welcome and appreciated. You've captured it playing with the naked branches and on all kinds of surfaces and textures, everything seen with superb sharpness and clarity. I like very much the depth, the lovely natural colours, the delightful atmosphere the people in the frame enjoy. Well done and thank you!
