Photographer's Note
Castle of Isle in Saint Denis en ValrnThe construction of the castle began in 1530, at the initiative of the bailiff of Orleans Jacques Groslot, Chancellor of Marguerite de Navarre and owner of Île aux Bourdons, a land isolated by the waters only during floods and located in the enclave of the parish of Chécy. In 1535, Groslot was authorized by the King of France Francis I to build a drawbridgernrnIn September 1866, the waters of the Loire in flood give up the levee to 150 meters of the castle which, already in bad state, is then largely destroyedrnAfter a long period of abandonment during which the ruins were considerably damaged, the rescue association of the Château de l'Isle created in 2008 began an action to ensure the survival of the monument including through stabilization work and preservation ruins. The association acquires the castle on March 31, 2010

Bonjour, cher ami Didi,

Hello Didi,
Fine presentation of these castle ruins, which still retain a charm all of their own with that beautiful brickwork. They are well placed in the frame, respecting the rule of thirds. Perfectly exposed with superb colours and clarity.

Bonjour Didi,

Amicalement

Hi Didi
A pleasantly exposed shot bathing in warm angled sunlight depicting the beautiful ruin castle and well set off to the surroundings. Totally a well defined shot with excellent perspective, luxurious colours, immaculate detail, overall contrast and superb addition of the beautiful fluffy clouds. Just great, Congrats
Best regards

Ciao Didi
Saluti
Carlo

Bonjour Didi,
What a beautiful castle, even from this distance we can see the beautiful details and patterns of the old walls clearly, the sharpness is superb. You also had such a pleasant warm sunlight here. Good composition with the castle placed on the right hand side.

Veuillez excuser mon retard Didi. Salamalecs.

Bonjour, mon ami Didi
I like the diamond patterns visible in the ruined castle, and the superb warm cold color contrasts between the red brick facade and blue sky. Good sharpness and framing too. Tfs!

Hello Didi.
Interesting note on the history of this castle, which nowadays looks in ruins, interesting remains with part of a round tower and another square, interesting also the drawing in diamonds of the bricks, great sky that is a good complement.
Well done. I like.
You have a good day.
Very best regards
Luis.

Hello Didi,
Even the ruins of the castle look majestic. That lone tree in the front renders the scene even prettier. Combination of green, red and blue looks pleasing to the eye. I also like the tone and angle of the light.

Bonsoir Didi,
Amicalement, Paul

Bonjour, mon ami Didi,
Belle composition.
Bien amicalement,
Pili et Josep
