In my quest of seeing & showing Paris differently, render well-known topics as fresh images....familiar landmarks from a not-so-common point of view....

Framed by the the two lamp posts on the left, is the unmistakable and instantly recognizable structure of the Notre-Dame (Our Lady) cathedral with its spire and the eastern side visible from this angle.

Pont de la Tournelle is an arch bridge in Paris, spanning the River Seine, not far from the cathedral of our lady, Notre Dame. The bridge was constructed between 1924 and1928. The bridge spans 122 metres and its main character lies on the left bank pier which has the 14 metre pylon topped by a statue of Saint Genevieve, the patron saint of Paris. The statue was designed by Polish-French monumental sculptor Paul Landowski.

you had lovely weather out there and you made the most of this pretty light. Well given contrast and sharpness contribute to the superb quality of the picture.
Very well planned composition with strong points of interest. Different POV to show Notre Dame and also a bit of the very picturesque bridge.

Nice view of Paris in fine weather. Like all the upward pointing figures in the photo, be it the posts, the dome of the cathedral or the statue. Very unique high pylon for the statue. I think the sky is the most attractive part of this photo, it is gorgeous and is complementing the scene beneath very well. Nice shot, thanks for sharing.

This type panorama view about Paris see we not often, with a big sky, but with the big tower.
Sharpness and colour are pleasant to look at.
Composition and presentation make these picture attractive.

The distance between the bridge and the basilica is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details, the colours of the bridge and of the buildings. The quality of the light is embellishing the colours. Have a nice day.

J'aime beaucoup cette contre plongée. Elle donne beaucoup d'ampleur au pont , surtout à ce pilier sur la droite. Les lampadaires se dressent comme des soldats dans ce ciel superbe.

i appreciate your efforts in locating new and unique pov's in this city....a hard task i'm sure :)

in my opinion, the large cloud formation helps to balance, and grounds the photo, giving me a focal point to center the scene - i think that's very important here. take away that large cloud formation and the subjects feel strangely lost.

lots of perspectives and distortions happening too, but i'm ok with that, don't mind it at all.
excellent details on the statue stone on the right.
love the overall scene, the colors, and the pov.

Nice symbol of the bridge with the statue seems jutting high up and perfectly positioned against the rich blue sky, an impactful shot with fantastic colours, perspective and sublime light. This looks very imposing must be screaming at you and temptation to capture is a hard one to resist. The light colour of the structure gives the shot a real boost and mouth-watering contrast :) The bits of backdrop interest and the lovely clouds are real bonus and your approach is always a winning formula! An unusual view of the Notre Dame Cathedral for sure. Fantastic sharpness with good perspective added by the bridge and the statue atop the superstructure at right makes a fine focal point. Good graphism of the dark lamps at left framing the ND. Tfs!

Finally something creative to post from Paris with also the help of a great sky
I took this captue but from the terrace on Institute of Monde Arabe
Here the two lamp post works well as a cadre for the cathedral on one side and the white statue on the other helps with the balance
