Photographer's Note

My previous post showed some rough and rowdy street art from the lowly Belleville district. Here is some more street art, but this is from a hip art gallery in the trendy Marais district.

Two different world, similar art, at least from the first look of it.

Alternative or mainstream...sometimes it's hard to distinguish between. So goes the yin/yang of art, I suppose.

Same, same but different ...or is it the other way round?

Hallo Benny,
Bij het zien van je foto en deze muurschildering dacht ik heel even aan een foto die ik ooit in Valparaiso nam en hier ook getoond heb: https://www.trekearth.com/viewphotos.php?l=7&p=1517023
Op je foto van Parijs bevindt zich het raam echter pal op de wang van de jongeman die ons onderzoekend aankijkt.
Ik vind dat het bord met de straatnaam er mooi bijhoort.
Maar spijtig dat er reeds anderen enkele krabbels bijgezet hebben.
Mooie presentatie!

Zo te zien heeft deze man meer in zijn mars als schilder kunstenaar.
Letterlijk een moderne opvatting van schilderen, ik ken iemand met bijna de zelfde schilder techniek.

That mural looks great and is well worth presenting the art gallery. Colours, lines and other elements make a combination that pleases my eye. Ellia art gallery text is quite stylish too.
