Photographer's Note

Follow-up to my previous big ballsy picture! Here's closer view with focus on the mirror ball reflection effect. View onto the Palais Royal with weird person included.

The PALAIS ROYAL is a former royal palace opposite the Louvre in the centre of Paris. It was built in the 17th century for Cardinal Richelieu.

Now it serves as the seat of the Ministry of Culture, the Conseil d'État and the Constitutional Council. The central Palais-Royal Garden (Jardin du Palais-Royal) serves as a public park, and the arcade houses shops.

LES BOULES ARGENTEES ("the silver-plated balls") is a fountain installation by the Belgian artist Pol Bury (1922-2005). It is located on the interior court of the Palais Royal in Paris.

This particular installation was installed in this location in 1985, near the more famous pillars of Daniel Buren.
