Photographer's Note
My first photo on this site. Welcome to my area, "mon quartier", as we use to say in french. and crowdy, the 10th arrondissment is still a popular place, with a mix of the trendy young upper middle class, immigrants, workers and real all parisians. Tourists are still ignoring us : we are not complaining at all! We keep secret our 17th and 18th century buidings, the massiv "Porte Saint Denis" built in the 17th century and all these "primeurs" full of colored and tasty fruits and vegetables. The seller who is used to sell "à la criée" -speaking loudly- is a major part of our parisian culture.
Welcome to Paris, seems to say this customer who was kindly surprised I was there, next to her.

Nice and lively street-scene with some fun expressions on their faces. All the fruits provide a fine texture for the background. I like this kind of spontaneous shots very much.
I made a workshop with a couple of suggestions, just my opinion.

Great shot ! I presume Doineau would have liked it.
Very lively and spontaneous shot.
As Torben, I like the black and white photo with more contrast.
I did a workshop on which I reframed a bit more and used density tools to reveal some details. I also used the unsharp mask. I hope you'll like it.
