Photographer's Note

This will be the first image upload from my trip to Northern France and the Battlefields of the Somme.

This monument can be seen for miles around as a constent reminder or the needless bloodshed of British and French troops during the infamous battle that started on 1st July 1916.

The towering Thiepval memorial has over 75,000 names of men that have never been found. Unknown unto God.
