Mysterious statue-menhir found in Aveyron.
We can date these anthropomorphic megaliths in a range between 3300 and 2200 BC.
The Musée Fenaille, in Rodez, holds an interesting collection.
Some reproductions of these strange witnesses of the Past were spread in nature, here, in Aveyron, on the edge of a small road between Coupiac and Montclar.

Sous cet angle le menhir paraît encore plus imposant, bonne netteté qui nous permet d'apprécier le relief de la gravure, intéressante contribution.
