A sunbath for this flock of sheep out on this wintry but very sunny afternoon. On the right the sheepfold and next to it the small church of the hamlet of Villenave on the heights of the valley of Luz st Sauveur in the Pyrenees.

Hi Jean,
A less usual view of sheep fenced next to this building. Most of them seem to be curious about you. Mountain background looks lovely. I like the shadow on the wall of that one sheep.

Fantastic composition with the sheep adding such a lovely foreground. Many of them seem to be staring at you. Maybe photography was not allowed there and they are irritated that you dared to take a photo of them...

Great light and a wonderful backdrop/setting for this group portrait:) The church tower against the snowy mountain top is superb, the satellite dish slightly less so. Still this is a fantastic shot I really like.

Hello jean,

Sheep are always curious and some appear to be giving you a lot of attention! Because of your sharp, f/g details, the flock makes a very good sense of perspective, as it diminishes towards the b/g. In fact, I really like the whole composition of sheep, buildings and 'v' shaped sky with mountains.

Bonjour Jean, a lovely composition with the inquisitive sheep in the foreground and the snow covered mountains in the background.
The wall and the buildings funnel our eyes towards the tower and the sunlit mountains. Excellent sharp quality.

A good setting for this photo of the sheep. Sheepfold isn't a term we use here - do they spend winter nights in that building?

What a lovely setting for a village and this immediately grabbed my attention to keep the viewer looking. Great angle, lovely deep colours and terrific contrast with the sunbathing flock. A pleasant shot well composed and exposed.

Hello, what a beautiful photo, the backgrounds with snow and sunny days end up creating true incredible backdrops for photos. If it weren't for the high quality of the photo, we could say that this photo was taken more than two or three centuries ago without anyone suspecting.
