Photographer's Note

I was surpised by the beautiful nature in Gascogne (France) - nevertheless there are not many tourists?
The landscape is hilly and different sights remembered me to sights in Toscanie in Italy.

I was especially fascinated by the rolls of straw scattered all over the fields.

So, I entertained myself during my vacation by making photo's on this theme: "rolls of straw" - here is the first one...

Dag Luc,
Terug thuis ? Met een hoop mooie foto's, dat je ons hier op TE zult laten zien.
Deze compositie is mooi. Tussen twee rollen kunnen dat schoon landscap van Gascogne bewonderen.
Ik heb nog enkele foto's van die streek gepubliceerd en sprak ook al over vergelijking met toscane.

Ha die Luc,
Long time no see...
Weer terug van vakantie en meteen een leuke binnenkomer. Het beeld wat we altijd zien van de grote rollen stro is iets waar ik al gewend ben hier, dit keer dus iets geheel anders en dat staat me wel aan.
Prima doorkijkje naar achteren, mooi helder landschap in frisse kleuren.
Ben benieuwd wat we nog meer te zien krijgen...

zeer aparte view Luc,
goed van kwaliteit en ik moet bekennen ik heb dit idee niet eerder uitgevoerd gezien. Het geeft een hele mooie diepte en dof, goed werk.

A surprising picture with an unusual, outstanding point of view (and view). The context to the landscape is obvious. I like that the colours are very natural but I do not like that your picture shows that summer has had it's summit ... nevertheless a beautiful one!

Een zeer leuke opname Luc,vindt het een zeer goed idee .Het crieerd inderdaad een zeer mooie diepte .Zeker en vast een goede compositie

Dag Luc,

Een bewuste keuze mooi tussen de stro rollen door, een heuvelachtige achtergrond met verschillende kleuren en indelingen, we zien zelf de blauwe koorden rond de rollen stro, wil zeggen dat uw foto kwalitatief goed is.

Hi Luc,
Excellent use of the rolls of straw to frame the fields in their varing color toward completion. You captured good color and detail in the sky as well in spite of the harsh light.

Bonjour Luc, C'est un sujet qui se prête à beaucoup d'interprétation graphique, c’est bien vrai que la petite parcelle de terrain que tu veux bien nous laissé voir ressemble aux photos que j’ai vu de la Toscane, j’aime bien cette image un peu irréelle, cette paille fait un peu penser à un rouleau compresseur, bien amicalement
