Photographer's Note

A European greenfinch perched and looking a little worried when I saw me shoot his portrait (from a distance... thanks for the zoom!).
With its yellow-green plumage, often it merges with the foliage (WS).

Interesantan pogled, dobar tekst ...
Lepa ptica na grani sa zelenim liscem, dobro pokazano sa lepim boajma, kontrastom i uhvacenim trenutkom.
Dobar rad sa lepom fotografijom u radionici.

Bonjour Jean,
Beautiful captures of the greenfinch. I had some of them coming to my previous house, they are so green. Here you caught them in a very warm sunshine, it feels almost like a sunset, so they turn more yellowish.

Les feuilles et les branches cadrent bien l'oiseau. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails du Verdier d'Europe. La lumière met en valeur la beauté des couleurs. Bonne journée.

Bonjour Jean, a very good close up of the Greenfinch. We see very few of these in our garden these days, I don't know where they have all gone.
I always like to see the catch light in a birds eye, which you have managed here, well done.

Salut Jean,dommage qu'il a tourne' la tete dans le moment de la photo et pour ca les details ne sont pas le top, mais c'est une bonne capture malgre' la distance, surement meilleure la qualite du WS. Belle soiree' et merci,Luciano

Quelque part cet oiseau me rappelle un canari.
Peut-être à cause du physique mais aussi à cause de la couleur ici sur cette photo.
Magnifiquement bien photographié et bien présenté entre les feuilles.

Magnificent capture of this beautiful bird among the branches of the tree, a beautiful plumage between gold and greenish, which gives it a good camouflage among the leaves of the tree. I love how it receives light on the body.
