Chapelle Saint-Michel, a photo from Bretagne, West

Photographer's Note

Saint Michel chapel is a small stone temple dating back from the XII century where religious ceremonies happened until the late XVIII century. Built in a small island on the Erquy cap, the island is linked to the shore during the low tide hours by a natural path of pebbles.
The chapel was under renovation recently by the action of a local association and visited guides are possible during the summer season.

Last picture of France for the time being, I hope you enjoy. I chose this one to contribute to the Bretagne gallery and because I haven't seen much pictures of Erquy and particularly this charming Island and chapel in TE. From next week the Asia trips in my gallery.

Hi Flavia. From the thumbnail photo I thought the stones were footprints! I am pleased they aren’t. Well captured, excellent colours and well composed for depth and perspective. Thanks for sharing.

Show de DOF! O primeiro plano com estas rochas que vão se tornando mais densas à medida que se distanciam. Os vários elementos em distintos planos e culminando na capelinha. E com direito a mais "background" no céu. Uma imagem técnica e poética ao mesmo tempo.

Bela fotografia!
Formato vertical muito bem escolhido para compô-la, na qual a capela, apesar de ser o elemento principal, não é a que ganha maior destaque dentro da imagem, mas sim, todo esse primeiro plano que é realmente muito interesssante, com várias formas, algumas cores e jogo de luz e sombra!
Nitidez adequada e exposição correta!

boa ideia mostrar a textura do chão e seu pedregal, a faixa de azul e, mais além, o montezinho-ilha e sua igreja. linda vista. tenho a impressão que a bretanha deve ser uma das mais belas paisagens da frança, qualquer dia lá vou eu ver isso
