Photographer's Note

The footpath of the old courthouse, over the Saône river, is situated in the heart of Lyon and connects the old Lyon at the old courthouse to the district Bellecour on the peninsula. Designed by Gilbert Lamboley, it was inaugurated in 1983. Very recognizable with its unique metal pylon, it was built so as not to not impede navigation.

My intention was to take pictures of the footpath against the backdrop of the old courthouse but as it is currently under construction, its front, made of 24 Corinthian columns (of which you can catch a glimpse on the left-hand side) is not lit up as it usually is... A bit disappointed, I went for a more general view of the footpath only.
