Bonjour Emmanuel,

The boat alone would have caught my eye for its weathered textures and color, but using it as a guide towards the horizon raises it to another level of interest. Sharp in detail and clarity, those rusted colors have a strong presence and exude a lot of character in this old boat. Although it could use a "make-over," I personally think it would be better suited "as-is" for any and all photographers to enjoy. :) Smartly arranged, and well presented. Bonne journée.

Hi Emmanuel,
Great composition here with the foreground boat filling 2/3rds of the frame, and grabbing our attention. Just love the textures of old paint and rust and the hand painted name of the boat, a photogenic specimen. I like the inclusion of the second boat in the background too, contextualising the scene.

J'aime beaucoup ce genre de détail sur les vieux bateaux , avec les coulures de rouille , la peinture écaillée ...
LA composition est belle avec l'ouverture sur l'autre bateau dans le flou au second plan .

Hello Emmanuel,
I lke this very much with its strong viewpoint and textures in the boat. The DOF is excellent so that the slightly out of focus BG adds to the composition very well but takes nothing away from the main subject.
