Photographer's Note

River GOLO takes its source at 1402m at the foot of mount PAGLIA ORBA (2525m) to be thrown in the Tyrrhenian Sea, just in the south of the Pond of BIGUGLIA.
After have shown to you bottom, the lower part, here is now top ; -) that is to say upstream of the river, seen of Ponte Altu (834m),
I have just discovered incidentally in my files the part higher than that posted lately.
I thus composed the new image by the assembly of the two pics with PANAVUE.
To satisfy some, I think that this new image will bring more relief and that the plunging glance in the natural swimming pool becomes in fact a glance on the top of the mountain.
I benefited from it to gum the part of the person who appeared in foreground.
I could not carry out the Large Version because it would have been necessary for me too much to cut down in width.

I hope the amateurs of CORSICA and in fact of its mountains, will appreciate this sight of the NIOLO, a very nice mountainous area of the interior of the island to be visited without moderation.
