Visit the Ornithological Park of Saintes Maries de la Mer, the birds are free, their wings are not cut
Some species of herons, passerines, raptors, flamingos, a large number of species are observable all year in the Camargue and are not considered sedentary.

Ah, Provence-Alpes-Cote-dAzur. I will be there in next week. I hope to meet there our friend Gigi :). Beautiful picture of this heron and its reflection. I would love to see this reserve but probably it will not be possible.

Bien pris de héron, joli effet avec cette tonalité argentée de l'eau comme le plumage. Superbes reflets, juste regret, la tête coupée en reflets, juste un petit détail.

Bonjour, cher ami Didi,
Il est très joliment photographié avec des détails étonnants. Le volatile possède même des couleurs par endroits.
Ce que j'aime chez le héron, c'est sa marche élégante.
Très bon résultat.

Tu as bien capturé les ondes sur l'eau. La prise d evue permet de voir les détails du Héron. La bonne luminosité fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journée.

A standout wildlife capture in its 'man-made natural habitat' portraying the wonderful view of quite a handsome bird as we get drawn right into it. Great zoomed in shot displaying its natural tones, colours and sharp in focus against the background. The silvery water sheen is a real bonus to finish off superbly. Congrats

Bonjour Didi,
Excellent capture of the heron, the bird itself is very sharp, which makes it stand out wonderfully from the silvery tones of the small waves in the water. The reflection in the foreground is appealing as well.

Hello Didi,

Good use of selective focus with near perfect sharpness on the wading bird with the long legs and beak. Itmight not have been possible to get the entire reflection of the bird in the shot? Anyway the minimalist color and strong graphism more than compensate. Tfs!
