Hello Claude,
Very well exposed and sharp. You captured the bird nicely with its wings placed diagonally, and we get a perfect view of its characteristic beak. We can still identify the background, but it's enough blurred so it doesn't distract from the bird.

An excellent capture of this spoonbill, with wings extended on a diagonal across the frame!
Lovely shallow dof.

It has been reported that spoonbills have nested and produced chicks in the north of England for the first time since 1700!

Magnificent timely capture in mid-air, such a huge and sometimes ungainly looking bird flies so gracefully at peace with the wind and sky. The back lighting effect is indeed a plus point. Top notch
