Notre Dame des Flots (1963), the Catholic Church of Cap Ferret under the lights taken here before sunrise. The church is located just in front of the beach ... a photo taken while waiting for the sunrise and my photos taken of the Bassin d'Arcachon presented previously on TE.

Danas smo komsije sa fotografijama na TE.
Lep pogled u noci, dobro pokazana arhitektura, lepe boje, kontast i uhvaceni trenutak.

Bonjour Jean,

L'église est bien placée dans le cadrage. L'utilisation probable d'un trépied, d'une vitesse lente d'exposition et d'un ISO élevé permettent de voir les détails de l'église Notre-Dame-des-Flots. Cela a aussi un effet spécial sur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

The church is really beautifully illuminated and stands out so well from the dark blue sky and the surrounding trees. Very good clarity and sharpness.

Hello Jean,

This church is quite a colourful beacon in the early morning, before the sunrise.
I do like the colours and the inclusion of the artificial lights to the side but feel to show the lights both sides distracts somewhat from the main church.
With a crop from the right and slightly from the front, the church becomes closer and has more impact off-centre.

I have done a w/s to explain what I mean.
I hope you are not offended.

A good blue hour / nocturnal shot of this floodlit church. Excellent sharpness and a nice warm cold colour contrast between the yellow and blue. Tfs!

Bonjour Jean,
The modern architecture is probably less spectacular than the old style churches but the time of the day make it appear very attractive.
I like in particular the well lit cross in the sky.
The lights are adding a symmetrical framing on both sides.
