Photographer's Note

"Octobre rose" ..."Pink October", what does it mean? Every year in October, a vast information and screening campaign against breast cancer takes place. The goal is to fight against the disease by informing and mobilizing to encourage screening and to raise funds for research.
Here, an illustration of this campaign with this projection on a wall of the symbol, a ribbon and a rose, of this interesting information campaign.
A photo as a thought for the sick, we all know around us.

Le cancer du sein est un fléau qui affecte beaucoup de femmes. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de la projection du symbole. La lumière environnante fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journée.

Good presentation with this ribbon, in Belgium are yellow the colour.

Bonjour Jean,
Aussi en Belgique nous avons la vague annuelle de solidarité.
Mais comme John l'a déjà écrit, les rubans sont jaunes chez nous.
Nous pouvons également envoyer nos meilleurs vœux en ligne aux patients atteints de cancer.
Je ne connaissais pas encore le nom 'Octobre rose'.
C'est bien de le poster ici aussi.

I remember seeing this symbol more often in the past. I am not sure why I don't see it that much anymore. Very nice idea, great presentation.
We learn to appreviate the importance of health with time seeing our loved ones and ourselves loosing it...
