A Rubik's cube on the dune?, a photo from Aquitaine, West

With these shades it makes you think of a Rubik's cube but not really square ... But what is it exactly? It is part of a blockhouse from the last war colored by a graffiti artist, original and interesting to brighten up this coastal dune of the ocean beach of the Cap Ferret peninsula.

Danas smo komsije sa fotografijama na TE.
Lep pogled, dobar tekst ...
Lep bunker na plazi, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom i perspektivom.
Dobar rad, lepa fotografija.
Mnogo je gradjevina ostalo na plazama posle rata sa strasnim secanjem.
Umetnik je lepo ukrasio objekat i dao mu lep igled.

Zelim vam lep dan, sve najbolje.

One of the much thousand concrete bunkers from the Atlantic Wall built between 1940 - 1944.

Yes the bright colors are a great idea to make this beach scenery more interesting. Quite an original work of art indeed. Perfect sharpness so that we can feel the surface of the sand.

Bonjour Jean

More than likely it was built by the Nazi German Army to prevent the liberation of France by allied forces in WWII. The painting of the dull concrete structure in kaleidoscopic colours, visible from afar, would have come long after the war. Tfs!

Oui, j'avais reconnu le cube coloré comme un bunker dans le paysage dunaire.
Après tout, nous avons aussi des bunkers au bord de la mer. Cependant, je n'en ai jamais vu un aussi coloré.
Lors de votre prochaine visite, les parties colorées peuvent avoir bougé ... tourné par une main géante ...
