With the preceding post I presented a detail of this nice fountain. Unfortunately the shot was taken too late and the luminosity was far from being satisfactory.

Avec un filtre dégradé Cokin qui peut se fixer facilement sur ton objectif il était possible de compenser l'écart de luminosité afin d'éviter le ciel laiteux.
La mesure se fait tout d'abord sans le filtre, il suffit de bloquer en mémorisant l'exposition, baisser le filtre dans son rail et photographier.
Je vais tenter un WS qui sera moins efficace que le filtre à cause de la présence des branches.
Sinon je trouve le cadrage parfait quoique un peu trop "sharp".

Yes, you did face some problems with the exposure in this one. But to be true the white sky doesn’t bother me. It creates a kind of cold atmosphere very similar to the images usually seen in the British winter country images.
Also like the composition in this one very much. The inclusion of the plants in the left part of the frame, the fountain and then the house create an imaginary diagonal line which works perfectly. I think it a very well composed image.
The main problem I see here I think comes probably from the PP. It seems that the image is focused in the original but due to some sharpening problems and extra contrast it became a bit aggressive in the textures of the fountain and building. I think if you could balance this, this can be a very, very good photo.
