Photographer's Note

This sunday at Nice, there was the 6th World Inline Cup Top Class. This is a roller's race where competitors are doing 42kms on the Promenades des Anglais.
For me it was a good exercise to make some action's shots like this one. I took my telelens and shot several shots. Let me tell you that this is really difficult to have a good shot. You have to be very fast and you have to focus on the right group of persons to make a "good" shot.

I like this one because of the first woman, she seems to be very tired and she has some difficulties to continue the race and the two other competitors, we can see that they are very motivated...
It contrasts a lot with the attitude of the woman but this what sport is: competition and go beyond your limit.

I used a big aperture set to 2.8 so that the first woman is a little bit blurred and the two other competitors are very neat, to emphasize the contrast between them.

I hope you will like this shot.
