Lost in reflections, a photo from Ile-de-France, North

Photographer's Note

Taken inside the "Grand Palais", a beautiful and famous monument, reopened to the public for a few days.
People were amazed at every minute by the architecture, the reflections, the huge dome, the music, the lights ...
It was such an event in Paris to discover again a place that many already knew.
It had been closed for more than 10 years and now it will be closed again for years before reopening after total renovation.

The use of the mirror to capture the roof construction is good, together with the real roof above it creates an interesting circular image space. The three persons at the end of the mirror is very well placed in the composition, I'm less happy with the row of half hidden faces on the right though, I think they messes the composition up.

Hi Sylvie! What a nice rich composition, curious mood of these people in the ancient Grand Palais! Really beautiful to see the ceiling in the reflection.

yhis is a very beautiful shot! It shows through the reflection the light and very airy structure of Grand Palais. This new architectural element seems to me a very good idea. TFS Sylvie.

Voici une composition originale, le jeu des miroirs est bien rendu. Cela doit être sympa de voir le Grand Palais entièrement remis à neuf et vide.
