Photo prise hier sur le champ de mars (transformé en plage pour l'occasion) à l'occasion du tournoi international de beach volley s'étant déroulé toute cette semaine.
Pour ce qui est de la variante "beach" du volley, deux équipes de deux joueurs s'affrontent sur un terrain en sable de 16 x 8 m. Ce sport est olympique depuis les jeux Olympiques d'Atlanta en 1996.

Sur cette image vous pouvez voir la paire brésilienne championne olympique en pleine action (shorts bleus).

Picture taken yesterday just near from eiffel tower during an international beach volley countest that took place there all the week.
For beach volley, 2 teams of 2 players play on sand on a 16*8m court. This sport is an olympic sport since Atlanta 1996.

On this picture you can see the bresilian olympic gold medal in athenes 2004 (orange cap).

Hello Sebastien

There is an incredible amount of action in this shot.
The lots of motion in the ball, but at the same time the two players seems like they are flying. No motion in them, only the kicked up sand to indicate how they got up there.
A bit hard angle to get a good definition of the players, but at the ame time it adds a the fact that there actually are quite a few people watching this.

Wuaoh Sebi!! your sport reports are really amazing , smooth, fine, sharp, highlighted, colourful, technically perfect and depicted with the most skillful touch that make me vibrate even if Landis is finally dispossesed from his trophy ot those Brazilians finally won. That image , this and all those are simply briliant. Astounded looking at how you froze that volley smash and waiting for next basketball world cup in which Spain , at the end , will go with all our stars (Pau Gasol can disbalance equalised games as well or in the same level as Nowitzki, but France has a great group by joining Parker, Diaw, los Pietrus ,don t know if Moiso ,Risacher, Foirest...It will be apassionating

Sebastien, fantastic sports action shot! Catching these two guys at the peak of their leap, really shows us how athletic they are - look how high they jump! The vertical blasts of sand add to this exciting effect. As well, like how you have captured their teammates, in a ready-ing post to take on the next ball in play. TFS!

This is a great action shot Sebastien, and your composition and timing are flawless. I like the little details like the blurred ball and the kicked up sand; they give the shot a great sense of dynamism.
My only criticism is that I wish this was women's beach volleyball, but hey, we can't have everything.

Hi, Seb, so i see you keeping your promises!
I adore beach volleyball, dunno if i am good player (ohhh modest me ;)), but to watch man volleybal in summer clothes (i mean bikini now ;)) with a glass of icy juice...it's pleasure. So i am very happy u visited actually men play, who wants to see this half naked women!!!!! (really who??? ;))
So about the photo...it's action, action and more time action. Dynamic with this sand fountain, with all players completely in frame (your Wss are GREAT too).
Long woooooooow from me, Sebastien! :) Not just Mr Perspective, but Mr Sport for sure and always Mr Vertigineux Paris for me ;)

This is a higly action perfect shot,
your timing is excellent and both WS are perfect also, and moreover i like very much this sport, it reminds me my favourite season - summer :)
You should become a main "photographer de Paris" because i can see that you dont miss each important "event" there :))
I wish you to take place on basketball WC in august and bring some great pictures from there.. :)

Trois belle vue en pleine action et d'une belle netteté.Les mouvements des actions,style sable qui vole,personnage en élévations,tout ça est bien cadré et bien nette..!Pas évident pourtant ce genre de prise et donc bravo à toi.
