Photographer's Note

While waiting for the sun, 960 m of altitude have and right with the top of Bastia, some tests into macro (that I maitrise not yet) I falls on this small place and the six flowers in direction from the quite timid sun boring from time to time the fog. No idea on the name of its flowers. Natural image.

Lovely Dominique. Seems like spring is on its way. Thos eflowers look like some sort of Crokus. It's nice and soft light and i like the tre log in fron of the flowers. i like the way the flowers seem to be reaching towards the sun.

Sans aucun pb c'est des crocus.

La composition est belle et rempli de gaiété !
L'arbres sur el premier plan est du meilleur effet pour mettre en valeur ces crocus.
j'aurais préféré une profondeur de champs moins importante afin de bien fixer le regard sur la scène principale.

Moi j'aurais appelé cette photo "coucou"... En effet ces fleurs semblent bien timides derrière ce beau tronc d'arbre. Profondeur de champ bien réglée. On dirait presque un arrangement floral dans un jardin qui se voudrait "naturel"...
Est-ce qu'on peut vraiment parler de macro à cette distance et avec tant d'éléments inclus ?

Very beautiful picture, Dominique. The violet tones of the flowers (which I think are crocuses, but I am not a flower expert at all) are pretty, and it seems as if they were on their tiptoes, trying to catch as much sun as possible. I like how in your shot they are positioned behind the barren log, which emphasizes the "spring" feeling even more. A fine spring mood with good colors, there are even more blossoming flowers in the background ;-) Well done.

Une bien jolie composition que celle-ci, elle nous mène tout droit au printemps avec ces fleurs qui n'attendaient qu'un rayon de soleil pour se montrer.
De jolis crocus parfaitement croqués par votre appareil.

Tout est harmonie dans cette délicieuse scène!

What a nature's beauty, rich in colours you captured Dominique! Now I see some resemblance between your picture and mine from yesterday - flowers and a log..only yours is so much more colourful, vivid and full of fine details! :-) Of course there is no more ground for comparing, but I am happy I directed my eyes to similar object as yours more skilled ones. Wonderful shot!
ps: we have the same flowers here and call them blue crocus.

Titre subtil bien trouvé et qui donne vie à la photo. Les fleurs et les couleurs sont belles, c'est amusant, on dirait des bouches ouvertes vers le ciel attendant un peu de chaleur du soleil. Belle composition.
