Photographer's Note

The Vaux de Cernay are a very much appreciated place of walk of the inhabitants of the south of the Ile de France. Many views posted on TE showed the beauty of its landscapes, raised by the presence of the ruins of the Abbey. I invite you to see all these photos who will give you desire for visiting this place.
I also point out that the landscapes of Vaux of Cernay inspired the painters who were, in 1816, at the origin of the creation of a class of “landscape” at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris and in 1836 the foundation of the “Barbizon Landscape School” by Theodore Rousseau.
