Photographer's Note

Okay, a change of pace from my usual people images.
It's a typical grey, rainy, chilly winter day here in Vancouver and I needed a little sun to lift me up. So here it is :-)

I shot this photograph while on a cycling trip through France in 2000. The sunflower field was located close to Vaison-la-Romaine. IMO cycling on a backcountry road in a place like Provence or anywhere else in France for that matter is hard to beat.

An extremely expert creation Spiros. The macro is perfect with great sharpness, good use of dof and a nice pov. The colours are vibrant. Overall a nice composition.
