Montbouy church, a photo from Centre, Central

Photographer's Note

Montbouy Loiret Department - Population 710 inhabitants - Altitude 128 meters - Paris 142 km. Notre-Dame church dates from the 12th century.
By this beautiful Sunday of april first I was disappointed to have not been able to visit the interior of this church; in this Sunday day the gate was closed.
The village is located between Montargis and Chatillon Coligny.
The origin of the name Montbouy comes from Bovis Mount or Ox Mountain from according to a magic legend, an ox was kepting a treasure.

Technic Stitch made up of 21 pictures assembled with Autopano.
I missed three pictures to show the Briare Canal in foreground.
Here a stitch of three pictures starting from a more distant point of view.

in this picture we note the slope caused by the catch of tilted view.

Didi, tu es la référence et le maître es-didiade. Ce stitch de 21 photos est très bien fait mais je préfère la photo du WS, le canal lui donne l'originalité et donc un avantage.

Superbe travail d'assemblage. Tu as su nous la présenter de parfaite façon cette belle église mais j'ai une préférence pour son côté "bord de l'eau"

This is a beautiful photo of this marvelous old chirch. Dating from the 12th century? Wow! It has fared very well over the centuries. When I see this old church the music of Hildegard von Bingen goes through my mind. This was a new church when she composed her innovative music. Well done!

Bonsoir Didi. Another interesting application of your patented stitching technique, which you surely have mastered to a great extent. The old church in the quiet environment is well shown, and the deep blue sky is the ideal topping and addition for an overall very balanced and rather vivid palette of colors.

J'imagine ta decption quand au final tu constates qu'il te manque un bout pour faire une image plus sympa, pour l'avoir déjà vécu!!
Donc ç a arrive même au Maitre, ça me rassure.
Le résultat est à la hauteur, une bonne idée des volumes, beaucoup de détails comme la conférence de pigeons sur le toits et de très belles couleurs.

bel assemblage de cette église avec un autre logiciel est il mieux que autostitch? belle lumiére de cette photo mais je préfére la seconde ou la perspective des arbres et canal donne un autre cachet

This is a compilation, Didi?? What a marvelous job you have done stitching it together. I love the composition with the line of trees at the angle and the spire and taller part of the church situated leftward. It does a great job of giving depth. The colors are so bright and clear. Du travail d'orfèvre, comme d'habitude, et un résultat parfait, techniquement et esthétiquement. J'ai peut-être quand même un petit faible pour la photo en WS avec le canal en premier plan.
Une question d'ignare en la matière.....je ne comprends pas excatement ce que t'apporte le fait de prendre autant d'images pour le stich....j'ai l'impression qu'avec 6 (voire 3) on couvre assez facilement toute l'image sans trop de déformations. Vois-tu réellement une différence.....peut-être obtiens-tu ainsi des supers grands formats?

Salut Didi,
I prefer this against the workshop because of the POV, even the other one is beautiful too. Good clarity and fine textures on each part. Two things really attract me, first is the tower with its contrast against the sky and the other is the wonderful roof, especially in the right part with the birds.

Tu m'étonneras toujours, une composition de 21 images, cela demande patience et rigueur, mais force est de constater que le résultat est à la hauteur du travail réalisé.
L'église est encore plus majestueuse, nous admirons tous les détails architecturaux et son environnement. Merci pour le bonus présenté en atelier.

Tu te rapproches de Montargis dis donc! Si çà continue on va finir par se rencontrer! 21 images pour cet assemblage! C'est impressionnant! Ton titre de roi du stitch est confirmé.
Tiens au fait je suis allé à Grignon avec mon nouvel Pentax K10D, j'ai fait une série de photos que je publie en ce moment.
J'aimerais bien avoir ton avis.

Bonjour Didi,

Ce n'est pas ton record mais quand même j'admire toujours autant ton travail et suis épaté par cet assemblage nickel. En plus tu avais la météo pour toi, ce ciel bleu est magnifique et la belle expositon relève cette architecture religieuse. Une photo agréable et bien intéressante. J'aime bien ton WS qui inclut la perspective sur le canal. Merci pour la petite histoire.

Un bon résultat, loin en-dessous de ton record. As-tu déjà pensé à une petite place dans le Guiness Book of Records? ~:~]]. Moi aussi je préfère la photo en ws, mais, comme tu sais, je suis un homme qui adore l'eau.

The large format is good to show the church off to full advantage. The light was good and you have a beautiful blue sky. You have done a fantastic job of stitching 21 images. I also like the WS.

Elle est belle cette vieille église. Une très bonne lumière dessus. Les arbres encore nus ne gênent pas en ce moment, tu as bien fait d'en profiter. Ca me donne envie de refaire quelques papagolfades prochainement.

Lovely view of the church with the nice blue sky in the background. I find the POV good and the addition of the row of trees in the foreground is nice as well. There is a pleasant, peaceful atmosphere here. Well done!

Bonjour Didi -

This is a lovely old church that looks like it has stood up to the test of time. Wow 12th century, here in America we have nothing approaching that age. In North America 250-300 years is considered old. What is really amazing is that when N.A. was discovered this church was already 300 years old. Exposure is spot on. It truly is a pleasing image. Well done!

Et nous voici avec un Didiade de plus... 21 images assemblées... rien que ca ! Comme d'habitude, la qualité de l'assemblage est sans aucun reproche. Une composition classique qui, il est vrai, aurait bien profité de l'apport du canal. Bah ce sera pour le prochain assamblage à base de 3625 prises :o)

Hi Didi,
Well composed in the Carperesque format. I like the foreground treatment here, with the row of character trees angling slightly across the frame. The church is resplendent in the early spring sunshine. The contrasting blue sky is strikingly effective. I also like the symmetry of the little fence portions. Very fine work, Didi. un cadrage excellent où on peut apprécier la beauté et l'élégance de cette église, avec une jolie file d'arbres devant et un ciel bleu magnifique à l'arrière.
Le clocher se découpe parfaitement sur ce ciel, et le travail avec l'exposition est très bon, lui donne une belle lumière et quelques belles couleurs à la photo.
Ton travail en assemblant beaucoup de photos pour obtenir une seule composition continue à m'étonner, est spectaculaire et donne quelques grands résultats.

Olá Didi, marvellous architecture with a fantastic blue sky to enhance, along with an interesting informative note and complementar images in WS. Your work with the stitched of so many photos, allways amazed me. In spite of not seeing the canal, I like very much the way the repetition effect of the trees fill the foreground. That tower has quite an interesting shape. Love it!

Une trés jolie église, le clocher décentré est original (pour moi) et sa toiture est trés élancée et particulièrement épurée. Trés bon cadrage et bonnes couleurs naturelles. Toutefois, je ne me ferai jamais à cette pratique de taille des arbres qui les transforme en moignons informes...
