Blue hour in Charsonville, a photo from Centre, Central

Photographer's Note

Charsonville - Department Loiret - 587 inhabitants - Altitude 125 meters - Orléans 30 Km.

I was likely to be able to photograph this church before the arrival of the storm envisaged this day by Meteofrance.

Charsonville is a small village located on the RN 157 in direction of the Mans.
Traffic is often disturbed by a big number of trucks which disturbs the peace of the village.
During the day drivers do not pay attention to the Saint Martin's church which dates from the 13th century, renovated in the 19th.
It is in the twilight the best moment to come here to be able to appreciate the illumination of this beautiful building.

In order to avoid the perspective deformation with a wide angle I made a stitch in six pictures.
Another photo was taken with a stitch of 10 pictures with the zoom setted at 75 mm, you will be able to appreciate the difference.

C'est le charme de ces toutes petites communes qui mettent généralement bien en valeur leur patrimoine. Un éclairage qui met bien en relief cette charmante petit église et que tu as su merveilleusement bien capter. Je vois qu'au 1er Décembre, les illuminations de Noël ne sont pas encore en place, mais en fait, il n'y en a pas besoin: J'ai l'impression qu'elles gâcheraient plutôt la vue! L'ensemble que tu nous présentes est d'une telle pureté que ce serait dommage de le gâcher par des décorations de pacotille!

Very well done! I like blue hour photos and this image has a nice balance between light and dark and the blue sky. The exposure appears to spot on with NO overly exposed highlights and detail is maintained in the lighter shadow areas. Well done!

Ca doit etre l'effet de la renovation car elle fait un peu moderne pour un papagolfade du 13eme, sinon je vois que tu as ressorti l'arme fatale du stitch et que tu as bien choisi ton heure, compte tenu que l'eclairage n'a pas l'air tres fort valait mieux pas attendre trop longtemps dans la progression de l'heure bleue.

This is gorgeous photograph by the evening light. The illumination from below creates an unearthly impressions (just as with a person holding a flash light below his chin). But it is your exposure that is so masterfully created. December 1, just a week ago, and I am surprised that it is already this dark at 17.30. The perspective is very beautifully handled by the composition of six images.

on voit même ici l'heure de prise de la photo.
L'heure sur l'horloge qui est aussi heure bleue ici.
Des couleurs qui n'ont pas la même chaleur que sur le stitch.
Un ciel très dépouillé et la photo en ressort toute simple, l'église bien plus prépondérante.

Il faudrait aussi que j'essaye ton système de stitch avec la même image, je suis sûr qu'il pourrait m'être utile. Mais actuellement
ce n'est pas la déformation due a la perspective qui m'importune, mais les lumières quelques fois difficiles a régler. Ici tout semble être si normal et parfait que l'on de la peine as'imaginer que ce système a été utilisé.

Didi, c'est une très belle photo avec un travail énorme. Je ne peux qu'admirer cette belle architecture très sobre qui ressort sur le ciel à l'heure bleue. Il me semble pourtant qu'il y manque un poil de netteté, un défaut qui apparait souvent après un stitch et qu'il est facile de corriger. J'ai tenté un WS pour que tu juges.

Il n'y a pas grand chose à ajouter à tout ce qui a déjà été dit...Malgré l'annonce d'un orage, le ciel est bien dégagé et l'église se détache bien sur celui-ci. Bravo encore pour cet assemblage!

how nicely this church is given light is the first thing people notice but I find one thing more important here. that ground, pink and cream mixture that sort of color is a nice item appearing it adds beauty with such a tone

This is very beautiful architecture, and its simplicity is enhanced indeed by this very well executed night shot. The illumination is dicreet but efficient, so the church really stands out against deep blue of the night sky.

You caught the magic twilight lighting with only five minutes to spare, either way. This magic blue twilight is so fleeting. Beautiful and razor sharp shot and very good notes. The restoration job was fabulous! Exquisite work and a stunning image!

A learning for me how you use stitch to avoid distortion. Fantastic picture in blue hour. Like the artificial lights on the church facade. A flawless compo., perfect also in vertical format. Excellent!

Vous avez revêtu l'église de feuilles d'or, tel un revêtement rituel pratiqué sur buddha qui lui donne un air triomphal dans la nuit!
J'ai appris aujourd'hui la méthode du vertorama pour éviter la déformation d'édifices et j'apprécie votre générosité intellectuelle concernant les informations pour le stitch.
