For me, it seams the ferry is really to close to the lighthouse. May not, I do not know. It is very nice to see how you got the wave breaking into the base of the lighthouse. Well done.

Very rough sea perfectly captured. I know how hard it is to get wave just right, and you've done it. The ferry is well located too (for the shot, that is, not for the passengers).

As I see the picture I guess how much time you had to wait to take this one with the wave in the exact moment hitting the lighthouse. And also not that much time because the ship would already had sailed away. A click on the right moment, as jackart said.

Salut Enrico,

You excellently captured power of waves while its beating lighthouse on pier. The next wave before ferry is excellently gives how was the weather there. Great composition with untouched, natural colors and of course under gorgeous cloudy, leaden colored sky while ferry and lighthouse creating eye catching contrasts with white foams. Congratulations.

Mince alors ! Assez impressionnant ce cliché ! il est facile d'imaginer un naufrage lorsque je regarde ta belle photo...
Je regrette juste une dominante bleue, en tout cas félicitations pour cette photo qui confirme mon envie de prendre des photos de tempêtes...

Très belle photo ! La présence du bateau nous permet d'évaluer la hauteur de la vague, ainsi que la puissance de la tempête. Impressionnat !

Bonjour Enico,
Une belle image de coup de vent sur un paysage marin, les tons grisatre de la mr et du ciel permette de bien détaché le ferry et la vague qui éclate sur la bouée au bout du quai. C'est très bien vu et réalisé.

An inpressive wave, caught at the right moment. A very well balanced picture, where the green top of the lighthouse and the yellow parts of the ferry get an extra quality against the grey water and sky.

Ca c'est vraiment une photo qu'il fallait faire ! Elle donne vraiment l'échelle de la force de la mer... et honnêtement, je pense qu'on était mieux à quai qu'à bord ! ;-)
