I always wonder how the municipality of Tutzing managed (or could afford) to leave a big parcel of land in her very centre completely free of any buildings - except for a golden Patrona Bavariae in the visual axis from catholic parish church to Lake Starnberg.

Hi Sven,a very great surprise, this golden Madonna seems a copy of the one that is on top of the Milan cathedral and is the symbol of the city, a really interesting post for me, and a perfect and very brilliant capture, perhaps who built it is was inspired by the Milanese Madonna .... bien présentée cette statue dans son environnement naturel, parfait format vertical pour ce sujet, bel effet avec cette teinte dorée étincelante sous cette luminosité.
